MADAWASKA VALLEY FISH AND GAME CLUB WELCOMES YOU!
Who are we?
We are a non-profit organization that seeks to preserve and protect the natural landscape in our region, and maintain the interests of anglers and hunters for current and future generations.
Aims and Objectives:
(a) Through affiliation with the Ontario Federation of Anglers & Hunters Inc. to provide a means whereby people of like interests can co-ordinate their efforts to help solve local, regional, provincial and federal conservation problems for the common good.
(b) To encourage the education of young and old so that all citizens are made aware of the vital importance of the wise use and management of our natural resources through laws governing the taking of fish and game and regulations ordering the protection of the environment.
(c) to cooperate with local, regional, provincial, and federal agencies and other societies in the conservation of all fish and wildlife and the wise management of our natural resources.
(d) To educate the membership to promote high standards of sportsmanship and safety when in the field.
(e) to establish and maintain compatible landowner-sportsman relationships.
(f) to create confidence in our Club within the community, assuring that we will examine each problem using the most reliable sources of information on which to base our decisions so that the broadest public interest is served.
